Unfortunately this really doesn't do it justice. 

It was such a good morning for a sunrise. 

More of the view from my spot and more of the fantastic gardens. 

So come watch the sunrise with me. Oh and can you see the little bird? Isn't he cute? 

This was the joy of this whole thing. I went from quite dark to lovely morning sunrise. And I also had the opportunity to have this great praise and worship session. It was Sunday, so me and God had church by the Colosseum. It was kind of cool!

Aah, here you get a shot of the two walls. You can also see some of the huge amount of seating. 

So this would be the "down the street view" for Rome. 

This seems to say that this has been here for a very long time. Does that really mean 8A.D.? 

So this is from 180 degrees round. I don't know if you can really tell, but this side doesn't have the outer wall. It seems that there is like an inner wall and an outer wall and on this side the outer one has fallen down. 

Rome has amazing gardens. This is something of the view across the road from the Colosseum.

Ancient ruins of a great city. 

Can you imagine the Caesars and gladiators and centurians walking around in all this? It just throws you back into history. 

I think somehow, the whole moonlight thing really does help. 

I don't know what it is, but somehow you just feel like you are in another world.

So this is some of the Roman architecture. Somehow it is very strong and stately (strange that really!). It is not as pretty as some of the other architecture around Europe but is still lovely and not overstated either.
